Going back a bit now, to my first real car. I bought this with money from my paper round (topped up with money from the parents of course). I was 15 when I bought it, and it was just about a runner. But not for long. Full of dreams of fame and fortune I set about turning this rare car into a lowrider, or as close as I could get in the sleepy hamlets of Somerset, England. This involved a lot of body filler, lots of imagination, and as you can see, chopping the roof off!!

The idea was to create a Carson top for the car, but of course it never went much further than these photo's show. I went off to college, then university and when I remembered the car some time later I asked my mother to get it scrapped. I remember that I even had to pay the scrap man 15 pounds ($25) to come and take it away!

Strengthening!

Here you can see the highly advanced strengthening I built into the car to stop it going a bit "floppy". State-of-the-art materials and workmanship, I'm sure you'll agree.
