I've owned this truck twice. This is the first time, when it was red. It had been originally modified by Dick Spodaro (that's their name on the door), and used as a shop truck. It had a typical 350/350 combo, with a Plymouth Volare front clip. This is very popular on early trucks because it's a torsion bar setup - which makes for easy lowering!

This was what I owned when I met Tara (as well as the GT40), so we had some good times in this truck. We even pulled a caravan a few times to rod runs and such. It would blow people away towing a caravan past them at 90mph.

And here what it looked like the second time I had the truck. It had been modified by Tony Gabriel (part of the Brack Pack) who had resprayed it a subtle shade of yellow and slammed it amongst other things. It still had the bumper when I bought it from him, but I removed it and filled the holes.

Looks better, doesn't it? It drove like a pig though, being this low! There was no front suspension travel at all - it literally rode on the solid rubber bumpstops. Oh well, the things you sacrifice for your art...
