"Once you've worked through all that workshop stuff and you've cleaned up and made yourself a cup of tea you can settle down with an update of James Shaw's '37 Ford roadster. This car is going to be a world class rod when complete and the Americans are watching it carefully. The design and construction work going into this roadster is considerable but the finished car will be so subtle and understated, most folks won't be able to tell. You will, of course, because you read Custom Car."
